Position Overview:
We are looking for a full-time Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives across Lane Office and FalkbuiltNY.

This person will work closely with the Head of Marketing & Social Media to help execute social media, content, email marketing, website updates, graphic design, CRM administration, reporting, events, and other marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded marketing generalist who is highly organized, creative, digitally savvy, comfortable working across multiple platforms, and able to manage several projects across two brands simultaneously.

This role is primarily focused on execution and coordination. The Coordinator will help manage scheduling, publishing, engagement, asset organization, basic design, website updates, reporting, photography organization, event logistics, and other recurring marketing activities.

Essential Functions:
Social Media & Content:
  • Assist with managing social media accounts for Lane Office and FalkbuiltNY.
  • Schedule and publish social media content.
  • Monitor and engage with comments, mentions, partners, and relevant industry content.
  • Assist with maintaining social media and content calendars.
  • Support the development and editing of social media copy, blogs, newsletters, and other marketing content.
  • Repurpose existing content across different marketing channels.
  • Help research content ideas, industry topics, products, projects, and trends.

Graphic Design & Creative Support:
  • Create basic social graphics, event collateral, branded documents, and other marketing materials.
  • Assist with formatting presentations, case studies, company overview decks, and RFP materials.
  • Resize and prepare creative assets for social media, web, email, and presentations.
  • Maintain visual consistency according to Lane Office and FalkbuiltNY brand standards.
  • Organize photography, video, logos, templates, project assets, and other digital marketing files.

Photography & Video:
  • Assist with project, showroom, event, employee, and product photography.
  • Organize and prepare photography for use across marketing channels.
  • Perform basic photo editing, including cropping, resizing, lighting, and color correction.
  • Assist with basic short-form video editing for social media and digital content.

Email Marketing & CRM:
  • Build, format, schedule, and distribute email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Support HubSpot contact management and list segmentation.
  • Assist with importing, exporting, organizing, and cleaning contact data.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and support ongoing database organization.
  • Assist with email campaign reporting and performance tracking.

Website & Digital Marketing:
  • Make routine website content updates across Lane Office and FalkbuiltNY.
  • Upload blogs, project galleries, photography, employee information, and other website content.
  • Assist with basic SEO best practices, including page titles, metadata, alt text, internal linking, and content formatting.
  • Review website content periodically for outdated information, broken links, and needed updates.

Analytics & Reporting:
  • Track social media performance across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant channels.
  • Assist with monthly marketing and social media reporting.
  • Monitor metrics including engagement, follower growth, impressions, reach, clicks, and top-performing content.
  • Assist with email and website performance reporting.
  • Organize data and identify trends for review by the Head of Marketing & Social Media.

Events & Marketing Coordination:
  • Assist with company events, industry events, sponsorships, and internal initiatives.
  • Help manage invitations, RSVP lists, event materials, signage, vendors, and attendee information.
  • Support event setup, logistics, communications, photography, and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, partners, vendors, sponsors, and other external contacts as needed.

Marketing Operations & Project Support:
  • Maintain marketing calendars, trackers, deadlines, and project files.
  • Help gather assets, information, photography, and approvals from internal teams.
  • Assist with RFPs, sales presentations, case studies, and business development materials.
  • Support internal communications and employee onboarding materials.
  • Maintain organized digital files and marketing asset libraries.
  • Assist with additional marketing and office initiatives as needed.

Required Skills:
Candidates should have hands-on experience with the following platforms, tools, and technical marketing functions:

Social Media Management & Publishing
  • LinkedIn — publishing, tagging, formatting posts, company page management, engagement, analytics, and basic platform best practices
  • Instagram — publishing, Reels, Stories, tagging, engagement, and analytics
  • Experience scheduling and publishing content natively within social platforms
  • Experience using a social media syndication/management platform such as:
    • Agorapulse.
    • Hootsuite.
    • Sprout Social.
    • Buffer.
    • Later.
    • or a similar platform.

Graphic Design & Creative Software:
  • Canva — social graphics, event collateral, presentations, branded documents, resizing, and general day-to-day marketing design.
  • Adobe Photoshop — image editing, resizing, retouching, compositing, and preparing assets for digital use.
  • Ability to follow established brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency across marketing materials.
  • Photography & Photo Editing.
  • Adobe Lightroom — color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, image enhancement, and preparing project/event photography for use.
  • Adobe Photoshop — additional image cleanup, editing, retouching, and resizing.
  • Ability to organize, select, edit, and prepare photography for:
    • Social media.
    • Website content.
    • Email marketing.
    • Presentations.
    • Project galleries.

Video Editing:
  • CapCut — editing short-form videos, trimming footage, adding captions, transitions, music/audio, resizing, and exporting content for social media.
  • Experience creating and editing content for platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Working knowledge of basic video formatting, aspect ratios, resolution, and export settings.

Email Marketing:
  • Hands-on experience using an email marketing platform such as:
    • HubSpot preferred.
    • Mailchimp.
    • Constant Contact.
    • or a similar platform.
  • Ability to format, test, schedule, and distribute email campaigns and newsletters.
  • Experience reviewing basic email performance metrics including opens, clicks, and engagement.

Website Management:
  • WordPress — updating website pages, blogs, project galleries, employee information, photography, links, and other website content.
  • Ability to format and publish web content without requiring developer support for routine updates.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Image optimization.
    • Alt text.
    • Links.
    • Page formatting.
    • Basic metadata.
    • General website content maintenance.

Microsoft 365:
  • Strong working knowledge of: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive / SharePoint.

Google Workspace:
  • Working knowledge of: Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive, and Google Forms.
  • Candidates should be comfortable moving between Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace depending on the project.

Generative AI Tools:
Strong working knowledge of: ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok
Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools to support:

  • Workflow efficiency.

Analytics & Reporting:
  • Experience reviewing LinkedIn and Instagram analytics.

    • Engagement rate.
    • Follower growth.
    • Clicks (CTR).
    • Top-performing content.
  • Ability to organize findings into clear reports or presentations.

Digital Asset & File Management:
  • Strong digital organization skills.
  • Ability to maintain structured folders for:
    • Photography.
    • Video.
    • Logos.
    • Social media assets.
    • Presentations.
    • Templates.
    • Project files.
    • Marketing collateral.
  • Comfortable maintaining clean, consistent file naming conventions and organized shared drives.

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in marketing, social media, communications, or a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with digital marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, and print marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing technology, content management systems, design software, and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong portfolio or examples of social media, graphic design, content, photography, video, or other relevant marketing work preferred.
 
COMPENSATION / BENEFITS:
  • Base Salary: $50,000–$70,000, based on experience and qualifications.
